Who is Arthur C. Goebel JR?

In my never ending quest to research and understand Arthur (Art) Goebel Jr. I've been fortunate enough to witness an historical life that transcends believability, defies all odds, impacts history and remains virtually unknown. The heroism, events, outcome and results of Art's life helped enscribe the Golden Age of barnstorming into the annals of aviation history, initiated the notion of mass travel by plane, contributed to the ground laws of the FAA and also perpetuated military air prowess.

Throughout this journey of uncovering his life I've been privileged and fortunate enough to meet fascinating people, hold incredible artifacts, visit fascinating museums and travel the United States.  This feat, within itself,  I know would make Art Goebel proud.
